Based in Chicago, I am a City Planner and Community Engagement Specialist with international experience in land use planning, policy development, and outreach strategy on large complex projects in Australia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and the United States. I have worked as both a municipal planner and consultant, which has enabled me with the ability to understand the varying perspectives and needs of community members, stakeholders and decision-makers. As an IAP2 Ambassador, I am extremely passionate about designing equitable engagement programs that are strategically looped into community development and land use planning processes, ensuring the best outcomes for both clients and communities. I enjoy sharing these experiences with students as a regular guest lecturer and course sponsor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs. My work across the United States has been focused on comprehensive planning and zoning code development with recent projects in Aspen and Pitkin County CO, Gunnison County CO, Routt County CO, Park City UT, Vancouver WA, Howard County MD, Chicago IL, Monongalia County WV, Guilford County NC, Midlothian TX, and Tulsa OK.
