I have been working on two bio-design modules. The goal of these modules is to teach other how to make Yeastograms (picture made from yeast) and bio foam. This was a very fun project that allowed me to use my scientific knowledge to explore a new and emerging field of bio-design and art.

Help innovators and makers start and finish projects. Teach people to use equipment like laser cutters, 3D printers, Inkscape, and more. The Fab Lab is a space open to the public to ensure that people have a space to make and invent. This space is located in FB. The Fab Lab also doubles as an educational space for the school where classes can be taught.

In this club, we are teaching students how to make choreography. We are also going to run monthly workshops for the public and new perspective club members. The long term goal of the club is to do shows in Iceland and in Europe at comic and Star Wars conventions.

I worked on a project to determine if weather affects methane landfill gases. This project was of key importance as SORPA (Waste Manager, Iceland) is the country's main methane provider. Overall, I managed the project tasks on my own and I ensured that my report was handed in within the deadline. At the end of the project I presented my work to SORPA with.

Feasibility of a PET Reycling Plant in Iceland

Worked with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement a device to determine the fairness of dice. The fairness can be determined by a Chi-Squared analysis. The team used all design processes. Including defining parameters, sketching design ideas, using a Pugh matrix, crafting models in SolidWorks, and finally fabricating.

Worked with a team to improve paint formulation. Mixed and tested new formulations for proper color and physical properties. The results lead to streamlined manufacturing and cost savings.

Worked with a team to improve and automate the heat curving process. Designed and automated way to heat curve. Including make sketches, using a Pugh matrix, creating models, and specing out materials. Drafted a final report with all the work and presented to Stupp Bridge company in Bowling Green Kentucky.

Was a summer job in a general retail position. Learned about cars and car systems. Also, delivered parts to commercial customers. Learned how to navigate the database system to find part for customers.

At Amazon, I focused on customer service. In the beginning, I was a sale generalist taking calls about common issues and then helped the customer to fix the issue(s). Later they moved me into a special team that worked specifically with list and registries. This special was exciting but also a challenge because you never knew what kind of issue(s) would.
