Head of department for the pictures team at the Royal Collection, one of the most important collections of art in the world. I am responsible for the curatorial and conservation departments for oil paintings, watercolours, prints, drawings and photographs. Our aim is to research, preserve and share the collection as widely as possible. My experience combines seventeen years of art history with a background in business strategy and a degree in psychology, and my particular research interest focuses on the link between western portraiture and fashion history during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
