• Support Director of SEC Reporting with filing of SEC mandated reports including proxy and press reports): set up and maintain SEC drafts/reports to be filed with Workiva software, full responsibility for presentation of the equity rollforward and stock-based compensation sections, preparation of report supporting documentation for auditors, and assist with SEC disclosure checklist completion.• Responsible for all aspects of recordkeeping and reporting of equity transactions: stock- based compensation expense including Black-Scholes, forfeiture rate and performance award expense, calculation of basic and diluted shares for earnings per share disclosure, coordinate with payroll department on advising payroll tax calculations for equity compensation, coordinate with corporate counsel, stock transfer agent, stock brokerage firm and 3rd party stock compensation administrator on all equity compensation matters, filing of year-end Form 3921 and 1099-Misc filing with the IRS, preparation of SOX control documents related to equity compensation and serve as liaison with external and internal auditors relevant to equity compensation.• Successfully cleaned up/reconciled inaccurate stock transactions history with stock transfer agent and implemented transition of stock-based compensation and EPS share calculations from excel files to third-party equity compensation software.• Assisted with month-end closing of books including posting of journal entries for payroll expense, rebate and commission accruals, and equity transactions including accrual of stock based compensation.
