As a founding Troop-Leader, I coordinate activities and lessons for a group of 10+ girls from the provided curriculum. I often communicate with businesses and members of the community to set up service projects. Recently I have taken on a new role to help creatively recruit new leaders and girl members within our service area. In the Spring of 2023, I took over the role of Area Chair for Jefferson, Jennings, Jackson, and Scott County where I help to maintain the relationship between all the scouts in the counties of Area One and act as a liaison between our area and the Kentuckiana Girl Scout Council.

The most important part of my job was making sure the Nursing Units were kept stocked with the necessary medications to give their patients the best care possible and to be equipped and prepared for just about anything.

I began my career with Walgreens as a Front-end Cashier, then learned how to run the Photo Lab and work as a Beauty Aid in Cosmetics Department. Throughout my time with Walgreens, I worked at 3 different stores and learned to do almost all of the tasks in each department. When a position opened in the Pharmacy at my home store, I began on-the-job training, followed by taking Certified Pharmacy Technician classes in Louisville. During my time as a Retail Pharmacy Technician, I assisted patients in the store, on the phone, and in the drive-thru while following HIPAA guidelines and Company Policies to input insurance and patient information into the computer. Multitasking was a must as Data Entry, Order filling, and Customer Service were all an equal focus of my day-to-day tasks. This fast-paced environment required the use of professional language, phone etiquette, and customer service skills to ensure patients received the highest level of service.
