At Maxs grille as a server I would guide guest through the menu, explain daily special’s , take food and drink orders , and help out with side work. Overall, the environment was super positive, and I’m very glad I had the opportunity to work there.

Buxy’s is a family owned restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland most popular during the summer months. As a server I seated guest, guided them through the menu, rang in food and drinks, helped out with side work, and helped straight up the menus daily. I enjoyed my time at Buxy’s but unfortunately the season was over and I had to go back to college.

As a hostess, I would make sure menus and the table looked clean before seating a guest, I would assign the table to specific servers, I would answer phone calls, and take to go orders.
