I was initially hired as a part time year 3 teacher but my health deteriorated and I ended up having to have a year off. I then returned as a teaching assistant in the reception class which I absolutely loved but I decided to resign after the Spring term to find a role that was more local.

This course is one of the best regarded in the country as it consists of both written and practical training. My assignment was on the effect of parents on their child's education and I did very well in this, 68%, and all my other 6 assignments (which were all a similar grading). The practical side of the course was 3 placements in local schools and each one built upon the last layering our experience and knowledge until we were confident teachers at the end of the course with a reflective mindset using every opportunity possible.
