As an English Major and tutor at Dickinson College, I have used my skills in editing, analysis, and ability to absorb written information quickly into a career history of listening and helping others of different ages and backgrounds improve their writing and ultimately their thinking. I love helping people “get it”- or at least end our interactions a little bit more knowledgeable than they began, whether that be about writing or literature or anything else. I love contributing to preexisting knowledge through research and data keeping, too. My various career and volunteer positions have given me a flexible and transferable skillset- and lots of career interests! In future, I’d be interested in applying my skills to any job or internship with research, editing, writing, administrative elements that ultimately allows me to help others grow.
