Freedom for Humanity is a registered charity, run by professionals from various fields as volunteers who are passionate about helping end the scourge of Modern Slavery. Initially founded to raise awareness of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery within the Australian community, I held its inaugural Gala Ball at the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney. Funds raised at events went to supporting Anti Slavery Australia and A21 launching their Cambodia post to rescue and support survivors of Modern Slavery. When I first came to learn about human trafficking, I was compelled to act and create greater awareness of this scourge. This is something that should not be taking place in the 21st century. From this thought, "Freedom for Humanity" was born. As Freedom for Humanity has matured, became a registered charity in Australia with a formal board, the number of passionate volunteers has grown. With an enhanced vision of driving change and supporting the survivors of Modern Slavery through Education and Employment programs, the team is ready to host our next big event - The Modern Slavery Online Summit.
