I have been working as a corresponding cashier in Food Market Herkku Helsinki, after the Herkku chain acquisition to HOK-Elanto. I work as a superior for cashiers and the service point employees ensuring high quality customer service in my department. As a part of Herkku Helsinki management group, I also take part of the complete store actions and planning.I'm responsible for all the cash and money transactions of the store. An important part of my role is to introduce new salespersons to systems required in their job as well as good customer service skills. To ensure correct ways of cash and money flows, I guide employees daily and make written guidance to support correct manners in money transactions. I also solve complex issues with transactions and reply to customer feedback, both face to face and via feedback system. I have also introduced other correspondents cashiers in the chain how to take on their new tasks and duties.HR tasks are also a part of my role. I assist our service manager with sift planning, vacation lists and payroll reporting. I stand in for the HR-tasks while our service manager is absent. On top of that, I handle an assistant role in the office, handling in-house orders and take care of other sustaining actions.
