As a research analyst, I lead quantitative evaluation efforts by consulting with clients, designing analysis plans, analyzing data using SAS software, and reporting and presenting results. I also validate claims, chart-abstracted, and web-based quality measures for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR) Quality Incentive Program (QIP) using SAS software. In addition, I collect, analyze, interpret, and report on qualitative data from key stakeholders, and present research to and facilitate discussions with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on their Patient Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund (PCORTF) strategic planning efforts. As a consultant, I evaluated social service programs funded by the Administration for Children and Families targeted toward populations including fathers and immigrant & refugee youth. I wrote evaluation plans, conducted power analyses, programmed surveys in Qualtrics, and analyzed, reported, and presented results. I also conducted focus groups to test questionnaires with target populations, and to glean qualitative insights for continuous quality improvement and program evaluation.

As a research associate, I analyzed and synthesized quantitative data using SPSS and Excel, and qualitative data using NVivo, into digestible client-facing and public-facing deliverables. My project work included evaluation, health needs assessments, and strategic planning. Topics included maternal and child health, substance use, and housing, all with a focus on improving health equity. For needs assessments, I developed and implemented surveys and facilitated focus groups to gain nuanced perspectives on community needs. I also collected and presented primary and secondary data to clients and community stakeholders to support decision-making. Finally, I provided technical assistance to clients on needs assessment processes and focus group methods.
