Coordinate and complete the fiscal month end closing process. Ensure journal entries are recorded timely and accurately. Prepare account analysis and reconciliations on various balance sheet and income statement accounts using Excel. Review expenditures to ensure proper account coding and classification. Assist Controller in review of monthly P&L and provide explanations for significant variances to prior year or budget amounts in a clear and concise manner. COMPANY CLOSED NJ OFFICE FEB. 2021

• CLIENT SERVICES:o Oversee weekly payroll reporting for multiple clients.o Responsible for timely completion of monthly bookkeeping write-up work thru trial balance for client companies in a variety of industries.o Responsible for management of all phases of client A/R and A/P.o Generate financial statements for management review, use and decision making.o Responsible for design, set-up and implementation of accounting policies and procedures for new clients.o Point person for numerous client-IRS tax controversy resolutions. o Perform requisite due diligence to ensure timely payment of tax liabilities of clients.• CORPORATE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES:o Due diligence to prevent and detect purchase errors and/or company overspending.o Manage all phases of company A/P cycle and draft/distribute vendor checks.o Responsible for managing all phases of A/P processing and A/R collections.o Analyze information to create year end closing entries.o Timely generation of internal financials for review by CPA.
