I work cross culturally and help clients navigate through complex intersectionality that they may face. I’ve facilitated healing in relationships that have been affected by CPFS involvement, including reunification as well as supporting foster children and their families.Alongside the caregiver-child work, I provide individual support to the caregiver. We explore their moments of overwhelm when interacting with their child and discuss strategies on how to support the child’s emotional experience through co-regulation. I also see children individually, between 3-15 years old, using a fusion of creative arts therapies and play therapy.I’ve co facilitated psycho-educational parenting groups and therapeutic groups for children affected by trauma, AOD and FDV at women refuges and shelters.
