I work with all SMERF accounts (social, military, educational, religious, fraternal), as well as tour groups traveling towards Cedar City. I help them find the appropriate accommodations and event space between the four hotels I manage: Courtyard by Marriott, Springhill Suites by Marriott, Hampton Inn by Hilton and Holiday Inn Express by IHG. I then communicate with the various departments of my team: front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and event coordination to make sure the needs of my clients are exceeded.I handle marketing for all my hotels, developing flyers and managing social media. I travel periodically to attend trade shows and develop marketing content for those. I also improve our general operations with events. I developed an effective hiring and training program for our banquet servers that increased our retention and quality of events. I enjoy bringing in new ideas to elevate our meeting spaces depending on the various needs of our clients.
