While I was studying at Brigham Young University, I took a part time job as a front desk agent at a nearby hotel. I soon discovered that not only was I good at hospitality, I enjoyed it. This led to a full time job while finishing up school, and then accepting a higher position when I graduated. Even after the pandemic briefly shut down the opportunities, I went back to hospitality simply because I love it.
