CurrentRoles: Principal Researcher, Principal Legal and Strategic Advisor to the LDC Chair in the climate negotiations, Co-Chair of IIED's Research and Learning Committee, and previously served as a member of the Strategic Management Team and co-led IIED's Climate Change GroupManaging IIED's Global Climate Law, Policy and Governance Programme, which supports the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations. Managing all aspects of programme operationalizations from leading the strategic and technical advisory services, capacity building, national implementation and research undertaken by the team, in support of the LDC Chair and LDC Group. *Leading development of the team vision and 5 year strategy, in line with the LDC Chair's work plan;*Serving as Principal Legal and Strategic Advisor to the LDC Chair and leading delivery of technical advisory services provided by the team on climate finance, adaptation, loss and damage, mitigation and transparency;*Supporting the development of national implementation support networks and leading national implementation work, including on the vision for the Gambia's Low Emission Development Strategy (LEDS);*Co-leading IIED's Climate Change Group as a member of the co-leadership team;*Co-leading the governance component of IIED's institutional change process, supporting the reform of the Institute's governance structures to make it fit for purpose.
