I would say I have a businesswoman's brain and a historian's heart. After completing my three-year degree in History and Politics, I learnt different cultural phenomenons from across the world and had a chance to indulge in South Asian history, which was an interest due to my heritage. While studying I also learnt to perfect my writing skills, organisation and task management skills. Using the skills learnt I was able to conquer as a receptionist and move to an admin position at a hotel. Therefore, during the gap year before starting my MSc in Management at Manchester, I worked closely with the hotel and its management and also trialled launching my own online business.As I return from my well enriching and experienced master's program, I hope to grow the little B&B by being more digital, and more sustainable and launching fresh ideas for marketing and people management. In my spare time, I also tutor History and English which keeps my passion alive.
