Editor of the semi-annual Johnian magazine and co-editor of the annual College record The Eagle. Keeping in touch with the Johnian community, I tell their stories through the medium of print, email newsletters and blog posts. I am also an active member of the alumni website and Johnian Hub, and I assist all members of the alumni relations and development team as needed.

The work is varied in nature and includes fixing website faults, proofreading Latin and English, coding, copy-typing and producing audio transcriptions. Larger projects I have worked on include designing a Classical Civilisation textbook on Minoan Crete and eight core worksheets on Ancient Sparta, using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Responsible for the creation and implementation of the overall communications strategy of the Development Office. I managed the Alumni website (www.clarealumni.com) and official Clare College social media accounts, and was joint webmaster for the main College website (www.clare.cam.ac.uk). I researched, wrote and edited news stories for online and print publications and created a monthly email newsletter. I also acted as editor of the College's major print publications: Clare News and the College record. In addition, I was the mind behind ‘Clarence the Clare Bear’ (twitter handle: Clarence_tCb). For the first year and a half of the job, I managed all the administration of the office. This included updating details of Alumni, current students and Fellows on the College database (Raiser’s Edge), answering emails sent to the general office email account, franking letters and processing website and event registrations.
