Currently, I serve as the SVP, Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) and Deputy General Counsel Senior for Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Protection (DGC) at FIS. As the CPO and DGC, I am the global head of privacy managing a rapidly growing global team of 15 people from around the world. Prior to being promoted to the CPO and DGC, I served as the VP, Assistant General Counsel (AGC), specializing in cybersecurity, compliance, risk, and privacy, at FIS, which is the world’s largest global provider of technology services to the financial industry. As the AGC, I advised our Risk, Information Security, Compliance, and Privacy (RISC) Department on all of their legal matters, including topics related to privacy and customer information sharing, unauthorized access to customer and corporate confidential information, information security, incident response, fraud, disaster recovery, identity theft, social media, risk, ethics helpline, OFAC, sanctions, anti-money laundering, fraud, compliance, ethics, General Data Protection Regulation, California Consumer Privacy Act, data usage, and consumer complaints. I also negotiated all of the contract terms related to Compliance, Privacy, Risk, and Information Security.FIS is the world’s largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions.
