Senior Education Ministries partnered with Happiness Bag INC., for The Teddy Bear Picnic. This was a community event with the intent of collecting teddy bears to send to local Alzheimer's and Dementia patients, but also allowed our friends with disabilities to have the opportunity to give back. Happiness Bag participants crafted decorations for the event and participated in the delivery of bears. After media promotion using radio broadcast, televised interviews, and social media platforms, nearly 300 teddy bears were collected and dispersed to 6 local care facilities.
