My role at the Summit encompassed everything from recruitment, curriculum design, and reaching out to community partners to training youth staff, facilitating opening and closing ceremonies, and designing evaluations.As the only full-time staff member at the Safe Schools Program for LGBTQ Students, I have also helped institutionalize the program within DESE through strategic partnerships and networking.
