During my internship, I was responsible for various tasks such as social media planning, communicating with stakeholders, managing the website, writing articles, and organizing informative and social events. Additionally, I assisted at LIC’s helpdesk, meeting internationals who had just arrived in the Leiden region and giving them more information about living and working in the Netherlands. Overall, my experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the nonprofit sector, recruiting international talent, city branding, and effectively engaging with LIC's target audience.

During my time as a sales assistant, I gained valuable skills that prepared me to work in a fast-paced environment. Interacting with hundreds of customers helped me develop my problem-solving abilities, become more resilient, patient, and a better listener and communicator. Overall, it improved my people skills tremendously.

During this role, I was part of a closely-knit and dynamic team.I was primarily responsible for producing T1 customs documents for cross-border transportation of goods. As a result, I have acquired in-depth knowledge of international trade and important concepts such as Incoterms. Additionally, I supported international clients and maintained positive relationships with them.
