- Coordinates, executes, and oversees the setup of all special occasion reservations for individual parties from start to finish through the process of guest consultations, planning, brainstorming, and acquiring.
- Acquires the appropriate information from potential clients for large party reservations that include partial and full restaurant buyouts and relay it to the company catering manager in a timely fashion, as well as.
- Greets and engages with guests in a hospitable manner and gathers appropriate information to efficiently seat reservations and accommodate individual needs in addition to managing a waitlist using the OpenTable system.
- Manages and directs other hosts on high volume nights to tasks that would best fit the needs of the restaurant at the time using problem solving skills to ensure continuous guest satisfaction and minimal issues.
- Answers general inquiries and customer concerns, schedule and confirm upcoming reservations, and manages all takeout orders on a POS both in person and over the phone.
- Provides administrative support to the General Manager and accountant by recording and maintaining track ofcash handling and basic bank transactions for end of month reports.
