CurrentCoordinates, executes, and oversees the setup of all special occasion reservations for individual parties from start to finish through the process of guest consultations, planning, brainstorming, and acquiring decorations and gifts, and creating additional custom materials utilizing design software for personable and memorable dining experiences.• Acquires the appropriate information from potential clients for large party reservations that include partial and full restaurant buyouts and relay it to the company catering manager in a timely fashion, as well as support and assist with onsite events.• Greets and engages with guests in a hospitable manner and gathers appropriate information to efficiently seat reservations and accommodate individual needs in addition to managing a waitlist using the OpenTable system, while simultaneously communicating with servers and back of house to ensure a seamless guest diningexperience.• Manages and directs other hosts on high volume nights to tasks that would best fit the needs of the restaurant at the time using problem solving skills to ensure continuous guest satisfaction and minimal issues throughout the shift.• Answers general inquiries and customer concerns, schedule and confirm upcoming reservations, and manages all takeout orders on a POS both in person and over the phone.• Provides administrative support to the General Manager and accountant by recording and maintaining track ofcash handling and basic bank transactions for end of month reports.• Inputs invoices multiple times a week to keep the General Manager and Executive Chef informed of theirbudget.• Maintains the accuracy of the Aloha system and restaurant websites by updating any menu and price changesthat occur.• Orders and maintains the appropriate stock of office, front of house, and back of house supplies as needed.Produces reports for daily sales, labor, product mixes, and the reprint of itemized receipts as needed.
