I was CIT Dance Soc Treasurer for 2 years during my time at CIT. I played an important role in the society as I was not only in charge of the Accounts but I was also in charge of the day to day running of the society and the planning of Dance Intervarsities in CIT in 2014.CIT held the Annual Dance Intervarsities in 2014. This is a country wide event for all colleges to take part in and to show off the talent that they have. A lot of hard work, planning and dedication went into the making of this event. CIT Dance Soc Committee were awarded 'Best Event 2014' at CIT Societies Awards. We were also put forward for the BICS National Awards in Belfast. I was awarded an 'Individual Award' for my contribution over 4 years to the Dance Society at the 2015 CIT Societies Awards.
