I am very excited about child development and their mental health. I am delighted to be able to help children cope with past trauma and emotional stress, especially within the foster system. I am very passionate about advocating for foster children and helping them understand their mental health better and creating healthier coping mechanisms to help them heal from former trauma. I hope to create a better future for the lives of children who are going through the process of foster care and have been placed into foster care homes. I am excited about the impact I am going to have on these children's lives and making sure they have a healthy and safe environment to learn and grow. I want to make sure each child is taken care of and is set to become a better adult in society through their home environment and through their learning environment as well. It would be a great pleasure to see more foster children succeed in life and would be a huge honor to help them reach that goal and point in life. I am proud of my certification for foster child care. I have been able to put this accomplishment into effect through my own foster siblings. Fostering children and working with foster children is my passion. I am proud of being a part of each child's life and creating new methods of learning for them. Being a part of my foster siblings' lives has created a passion for psychology and the child psyche. They have also impacted my life by helping realize the career path I wanted to take in child psychology and behavioral therapy. I am seeking job opportunities that are childcare based but also will be stepping stones to my field of study. I am looking for resources that will help me when I am finished with school and contacts that can help me enter the field of child psychology or behavioral therapy. Being able to network with others in similar fields will help me get a leg up in my career and will also help me find connections to jobs in my career.
