Became a stay at home mom at birth of second child, and began a long period of volunteering. Room Mom for all 6 years of elementary school for all 3 children. Assisted in classrooms for reading intervention and homework prep/correction. Girl Scout co-leader, Girl Scout Camp Games and Dance Coordinator (x3 years), 5th grade activity coordinator (x3), School Carnival Chair (5 years), 8th grade graduation coordinator (x3), Grad Night Activity Coordinator (x2), Color Guard Coordinator (2009 - present), Track Mom, PTA Board Parliamentarian (8 years). These are just a few of the things I became involved in, working with teachers, administrators, and other parents during this time.
