Anna is a Senior Legal Counsel at REMONDIS Australia, a leading global provider of environmental, recycling and waste management solutions. She is passionate about applying her legal knowledge and skills to support the growth and sustainability of her organisation and its stakeholders. She has over 14 years of post-qualification experience in corporate & commercial law, and holds a Master of Laws degree.Anna provides commercial and strategic legal advice across a range of practice areas namely in competition & consumer law, corporate law, PPSA, IP, Licensing, WHS, COR, privacy/data and consumer credit law, and is enthusiastic about modern slavery law. Her main practice expertise is in contracts including tendering & procurement, terms of trade, goods & service agreements, logistics/supply chain arrangements, plus construction contracts. She also drafts and implements company policies, conducts regular legal & compliance training sessions, facilitates whistleblower investigations, undertakes M&A / DD projects, assists in the company secretarial function, manages junior lawyers in her team and assists business operations internationally. She was placed as a finalist for In-House Lawyer of the Year in the 2022 Women in Law - Lawyers Weekly Awards. Prior to REMONDIS she worked at Harvey Norman Holdings Ltd (an ASX listed company) in the commercial legal department.
