I currently accumulated a variety of knowledge by observing and treating patients in different clinical environments such as MSK, routine, high risk, Vascular, Paediatric, nail surgery, triage, home visits and walk-in.In MSK i had the chance to diagnose different pathologies related to lower limb, assess patients and provide a treatment plan. Depending on the pathology, treatment could be exercises, insoles, shockwave therapy, steroid injections as well as LA. As a student i was only able to observe steroid injection treatment.In high risk i managed, assessed and treated ulcers by using ANTT procedures and a variety of dressing selection. I had luckily the opportunity to participate in the MIDFUT research and observed a Hudrosurgical Debridement (HD) and Decellularised dermal allograft ( DCD ).Further experience was gained in home visits and routine clinics, regarding callus debridement and nail care.Observed and participated in vascular and neurological assessments including doppler, ankle pressure index, toe pressure index, monofilament and tuning fork.

During my experience in High Risk Clinic in Olham i had the chance to observe wound care and how podiatrist interact with consultants by using problem solving skills which are significant to professional practice. In Private practice i had the chance to observe and involve in the treatment of patient care and also distinguish the similarities and differences between managing patients in private clinic and NHS. Urban Village gave me the opportunity to help homeless people by providing foot management. I noticed that homeless people were satisfied with minimal nail care and callus debridement as well as some kind words and compassion.

Acquired basic knowledge and practical skills in order to treat patients safely including hand hygiene, manual dexterity, CPR and also callus and nail care. Started my practice within 6 weeks and continued to treat patients at university's clinic up to present. Currently, i have also the diagnostic skills to assess patients with MSK conditions and provide local anaesthesia injection and nail surgery. Not only house clinics, but also modules enable me to think critically and by using comprehensive assessments i developed pathways to provide care and treatment of lower limb disorders.

Clinical practice has been developed in the second year of my academic studies as i had the opportunity to practice my clinical skills in Chorlton and Rusholme NHS clinics one day per week for a year. Callus and nail care, simple wound management and some components of vascular and neurological assessments were the skills i developed. Advice was always given to patients in relation to foot care and lifestyle changes. Raised awareness of referral pathways and SOAP record keeping was the method i used in the trust.
