- Purchasing space from hotels in the UK and Ireland for groups, focusing mainly on South England: coordinating mailings to hotels to request space and monitoring responses with further actions; enquiring availability over the phone and by e-mail; negotiating rates as per budget guidelines; negotiating terms and conditions; liasing with the Operations Consultant (sending hotel offers and agreeing on option dealines)- Placing last minute group bookings within tight deadlines in the UK, Ireland, France and Belgium for the entire client pool- Maintaining bookings (entering service lines, sending out confirmations)- Coordinating supplier contracts and being responsible for necessary follow-up- Working with tight deadlines in order to reach company targets- Requesting signed confirmations and cancellations from suppliers- Daily correspondence with suppliers by telephone and mail- Updating the company database
