Hi, welcome to my Linkin Zone. My name is Anna, come from Fujian Province. I’m working as a guest service manager at present in an international luxury hotel brand, the Regent hotel. As a GSM, I take responsibilities to handling guest’s complaints, ensuring hotel daily safe and smooth operations, handling hotel or guests’ emergency situations, enhancing the costumer experiences in many ways. I’m also a designed trainer to do the departmental trainings. Except that, I’m still in the charge of departmental stock and purchasing, the attendance record. I’m a good role to make sure the information uploaded and making known to lower level in the team, I keep harmony relations with the team, and help upper managers to share their works. In this September, at the situation of job vacant of GEM, I was assigned to be concurrently in charge of the guest experience team, during the time, I lead the GE team to handle all the hotel VIP guests, special occasion guests, and hotel festival decorations and activities, it conflicts me at the beginning, but look through the more than two months, until now, what we have done impressed the hotel management team, we received many compliments from guests on the social media and the hotel colleagues, it has got big recognition in my review in year from my boss. This experience helps me sharpened my multiple management skills, because I was as an-half FDM to well leaded the FD team to operate before. I have so much enthusiasm in the customer service industry, I always believe that the self-confidence comes from sufficient experience and knowledge, and I am keep finding more opportunities and challenges to improve my personal quality and self-confidence.
