Released from duty by consent of the parties (relocation abroad due to security reasons)

- to update the statistics data on Covid-19 related cases based on information confirmed by doctors from OSCE SMM Ukraine hubs;- to provide data analytics upon supervisor's request;- immediately to inform the Ambassador of OSCE SMM Ukraine about new Covid-19 related cases;- to convert data on Covid-19 situation into graphics and diagrams; - daily and weekly report to the senior management of the mission and the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna on the current situation related to Covid-19 including new cases, recoveries and releases;- to send out daily requests for PCR testing for OSCE staff all over Ukraine, to keep the data on self-paid and mission-paid tests;- to collect and store the positive/negative results of mass AG and PCR testing;- to update the statistics on the vaccination status of OSCE staff members;- to upload the Covid-19 data into maps through GIS software;- to keep updating the information on medevac and repatriation conducted by ISOS in both Covid-19 related and non-Covid-19 related cases;- to collect the information on the staff members self-isolated in the hotels for monitoring the numbers of available rooms booked for the Covid-19 suspected cases;- to monitor the sick leaves, chronical sick leaves for follow up and assistance when needs;- to keep updating the records on various vulnerable groups within the Organization.

- to disseminate the appropriate security information to the IOM staff;- to ensure proper fulfiling security requirements which are endorsed for the staff operating in the Eastern conflict area of Ukraine;- to be in charge of the staff Medical safety, in timely updating of supplies in the medical kits in IOM offices in Kyiv, Eastern conflict area and in IOM cars;- to initiate and support the implementation of Emergency exercises and drills to ensure that staff members are aware and following the established security procedures and instructions;- to maintain the IOM Mission's security, Fire safety, Emergency plans;- to update and maintain Mission's Warden and Fire Warden systems and provide related communication;- to supervise and direct the team of 13 Security guards to ensure that their duty performance meets the high standards of the related activities;- to initiate and coordinate the selection process and training of the Security guards;- support and administration of access cards and UN ID cards system which is in place in IOM facilities and in joint UN offices;- to maintain routine and confidential correspondence files with staff personal data, operations, program implementation materials;- to keep tracking all the assets and equipment in the Unit and other security items in the Organization;- to liaison with Procurement unit on identification and purchase of the security equipment and other items; to proceed with paperwork, to cooperate on the arrangements and related matters;- to liaison with the Financial unit on the payments for the contractors, the duty travel arrangements, etc.;- to conduct the security orientation briefings and presentations for the newly assigned IOM staff members and for the international delegations.

- to conduct inspections and interviews to evaluate the UN Police duty performance in compliance with the UN regulations;- to inspect, to follow up and then re-inspect the UN Police staff functioning in MHQ and in the Field Offices, on the proper use of UN property and human resources; planning and reporting paperwork; workload and productivity; challenges and problems they face in work; welfare; living and working conditions, facilities; overall performance, including progress in implementing of instructions;- to compile after-inspection report about the observations and all the shortcomings revealed, to submit it to the Head of UN Police Component for further action and decision-making;- to request feedback from the Field office/MHQ unit on implementing the recommendations given by the Evaluation unit to get updated information for further planning of unexpected re-inspection;- to re-visit Field offices/MHQ to see whether they did comply with the recommendations and comments made by the UN Police Commissioner;- to report the observations of second and every next inspection to the Head of UNMISS Police Component.I was pretty successful in performing the duties and I have gained much while in UNMISS. I developed the strategy of evaluation and implemented it with my team. It has revived the functioning of the unit. All the recommendations I have submitted to the Head of UNMISS Police Component were approved and distributed. The challenges initiated were for good and with visible improvement of the situation in general, related to efficiency and productivity. I have drafted two directives on behalf of UNMISS Police Commissioner and revised a few more. All were approved with appreciation. I have initiated and developed other strategic guidelines and internal projects.Till the end of the mission, I was a member of the Board of Inquiry for the assessment of the criminal cases in which UN staff were involved. I have been awarded the United Nations Medal.

- to collect the records of the incidents registered by Police departments and Police stations within the region of 3 districts and 11 counties;- to maintain the general statistics data based on the information reports received within the region;- to review and submit the weekly statistics and analytical reports; - to compile a number of comprehensive and voluminous daily, weekly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual reports for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;- to process and fulfil the informational requests, including confidential information requests from particular authorities, requests from other countries;- on a daily basis to maintain and to update the sufficient confidential database.

- daily to monitor the UN Police posts and access points to the Protection of civilians site on security checks, searches, registration procedures of incoming/outgoing IDPs and the UN transport; - to participate in weekly, monthly search operations to prevent smuggling and turnover of prohibited at PoC site items;- to conduct joint mobile patrols to monitor the security situation at the protection of civilians site and outside the UN base to demonstrate the UN presence, fostering confidence and trust-building within the local community; - to compile comprehensive daily reports on the security situation, UN Police activities at protection site and outside of the UN base, in regard to the daily occurrence;- immediately to process the incident report if any crime or security incident has occurred at protection site 24/7; - to provide security during the delivery of Humanitarian services and other operations; - to collect the intelligence about the activities of former combatants, criminal elements, clans within the PoC site;- to participate in the planning of the UN Police non-budget and budget activities;- to provide the budget proposals and work plans related to the training and supportive programs;- to develop the training programs and sensitizing vulnerable groups protecting them from abuse, exploitation and other harmful factors during and after the armed conflict.I had assessed domestic violence, rape of minor, thefts, adultery, child forced marriage, child abuse, sexual assault, kidnapping, serious injuries and a variety of other offences. I had the aim to educate and build an initiative to fight Gender-based violence and have organized and conducted a number of training courses for Internally displaced persons in the PoC site on Gender mainstreaming, the Importance of education for both boys and girls, Human rights, Community policing, Crime prevention etc.I have been awarded the United Nations Medal.

- to maintain the records of all the crimes committed within 24 hours in 3 Districts and 11 Counties of the region; - to determine the most significant (for public) events out of crimes committed, other serious incidents, as well as, positive events in Police performance and activities within the entrusted region; - to conduct interviews with the prominent Police officers with special achievements; - to provide media with the mentioned above materials (articles, video and photo materials) to be highlighted in newspapers, radio, TV, websites;- to initiate, organize and conduct the press-conferences and other activities for journalists and Senior management of National Police.

- to maintain the records of the traffic accidents that occurred within 24 hours in the region of 3 Districts and 11 Counties;- immediate attending the scene of traffic accident if there were more than 3 victims, if a child was injured or if the accident has caused the death, and other serious incidents, for records, photo, video materials and informing media; - to determine the most significant (for public) events from past 24 hours, to write the articles for newspapers on such events and articles on preventive topics with advice; - to conduct the lectures in schools for children and teens on preventive topics, as road safety and related matters; - to compile the monthly report and statistics for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

- to investigate criminal acts such as theft, robbery, domestic violence, armed robberies, burglaries and a variety of others (property crimes, crimes against life, person and health)- to attend and examine the crime scene, to handle the evidence and other items related to the criminal case to solve the crime;- to initiate the opening of the criminal case;- to determine and initiate search measures to find additional evidence and the suspects in the case;- to interview informants, suspects, and witnesses to ascertain motive, alibis, clues, time frames,and possible suspects;- to maintain the detailed records of all the activities and actions;- to collect evidence enough to support a court case against a criminal;- to analyze the laboratory findings in the case;- to maintain an in-depth knowledge of state statutes and court cases related to work performed;- to provide the legal support until the Court hearing opens.
