Under a CTRS, I am completing my senior internship of 600 hours to fulfill my last requirement of my B.S of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. I am an affiliate of the LGBTQ+ Task Force, to educate and advocate for those in the community.

At Peaceful Living I work in the Family Services Department giving direct care to adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities. We work in a one-on-one ratio aiding and supporting personal goals. These goals may include: community integration, daily living skills, preparing a snack, social/peer interaction, educational skills, volunteer work, daily exercise and so on.

I run daily activity programs including pet therapy, arts & crafts, games and complete full assessments and care plans for patients. I work at Willowcrest, which is the in-patient acute rehab facility at Einstein.

Constantly ensure safety of swimmers and pool-goers, clean pool, take chemical readings, clean pool area

Coordinating lesson plans for children learning how to sail, waterski, wakeboard, canoe, kayak, paddle board and many other activities on the waterfront of Seneca Lake in NY. We drove the motor boats for the campers, and taught and practiced safe waterfront behavior.

As a counselor at VCC Day Camp, we engaged the kids in everyday activities that involve sensory, emotional, physical and social growth. We helped change, feed, and clothe the campers that were unable to do so themselves. Everyday, each team will go through stations we had planned for them. I also worked as the Adventure Director which had me creating a daily lesson plan for the Adventure station. The campers' favorite "lesson" was always a scavenger hunt that took us all around camp!
