I am a ministry assistant at Shades Mountain Community Church in Birmingham, AL, where I work in three main roles. The first is with our middle school youth group, as an administrator assisting with planning and programming, as well as discipling and teaching young girls. Secondly, I serve as the recruiter for Camp Adventure (thecampadventure.com), and work at camp in a variety of roles, including overseeing all of the youth volunteers. Thirdly, I am the administrator for Shades Mountain All-Stars (shadesmountainallstars.com), SMCC's youth basketball league. In this role, I coordinate all of our teams, volunteers, and events over the 8 week season. I graduated from Samford University in April 2023 with a BBA in Accounting. During my time at Samford, I served in a number of roles both on and off campus. On campus, involvement of note includes the Student Recruitment Team, BSOB Dean's Student Advisory Council, Beta Alpha Psi and Student Activities Council. Off-campus, I volunteered with the middle school and nursery programs at Shades Mountain Community Church and Dance Without Limits. Additionally, I served three summers in the Christian summer camp setting.
