Picture Framing has become a hobby of mine recently. Being able to volunteer to work for 'No.1 Picture Frames' during my free time gives me the opportunity to learn more about this skill. I am required to choose frames and mounts which will compliment a painting/photograph. As well as being able to precisely cut these frames and mounts to create a framed.

As part of my course at Brunel University I chose to do a Placement Year. For this year I applied to work at Whitgift School and was successful. I was required to assist in the Design & Technology Department including; helping the Technician with general maintenance of the machines, developing lesson plans for a weekly D&T club, being on hand to use many.

From working behind a bar I was able to develop my communication skills dramatically. I was required to be able to work behind the bar and waitress for events such as weddings.

I was required to be able to inspire and motivate people of all ages to play tennis as well as giving them the skills they needed to be able to improve in the sport. I completed my Level 1 Coaching course which enabled me to take groups on my own caught without the main tennis coach having to be there. I learnt valuable skills in communication and voice.
