Responsible for the programme management of the DHL Supply Chain Brexit response: a customer focused programme to analyse risk and mobilise response plans to minimise the impact on customers’ supply chains. Included the set-up and operation of a “no deal” control room to oversee UK -EU border crossings and ensure supply chains for major automotive and retail customers were able to run smoothly in the event of a “no deal”. Liaison with government and industry bodies was a key part of the programme, as well as co-ordinating and delivering updates and instructions to senior business leaders and customers.

Included build and configuration of a 5500 sq metre temperature controlled pharmaceutical warehouse; Customer, Exel and DHL IT infrastructure installation.Challenges included simultaneous Exel-DHL merger and associated HR issues, 24/7 operations that could not be interrupted. Aviation security restrictions.450 staff; £3million budget; Completed on time and on budget with no interruption in operations.
