I started as the sole secretary for misdemeanor docket. I created and put in place a system for processing all new and reopened misdemeanor files. I learned to search the dockets to find cases when court minutes were lost or not received. After implementing the system for processing the misdemeanor files and managing that docket I was asked to join the felony team. On the felony team we opened and proceeded all felony files while researching any and all connected cases and defendants. In both roles I drafted minor pleadings, assisted attorneys with trial materials, helped provide relief for the receptionist as needed, and processed incoming documents and mail.
