Based in Shanghai from 2011 and relocated to Singapore in 2016. Official retired from Celanese on May 1, 2019.- Developed and nurtured the Asia HR team in Shanghai to be professional in their own strengths and earned respect and credit from internal leaders and customers- Support company to change company vision and mission when the new CEO and new HRO on board.- Support company strategy to outsource staffing under RPO for China and followed by outside of China- Support corporate strategy to change leadership team, business strategy and compensation plan while achieving and exceeding company performance goals (P&L)

- Recruited Country HR Leader, India for Owens Corning, HR Manager for Building Material, India and Talent Acquisition Manager, AP for Owens Corning in Shanghai.- Lead office consolidation project with an objective to enhance OC employer brand and strengthen synergy and cooperation/collaboration between Glass Reinforcement and Building Material Divisions. This project has started since 2009. After I joined in late 2010, I was assigned to champion this project in Jan 2011, worked with JLL to identify and select office location, prepare proposal and obtain "buy in" from business units and corporate in AP. Submitted and received approval from CEO in Jun to go ahead.

- Established UTC Fire Security Asia HQ in Shanghai in Jun 2006 and built the Asia Leadership Team by reorganizing/consolidating the two existing AP HQs of Chubb Asia in HK and Kidde AP in Bangkok, Thailand.- Built Asia HR Team in Shanghai and provided leadership, guidance and coaching to standardize all HR standard works including employment productivity, planning/analysis, learning and organization development, policy and process improvement, C&B, M&A and integration.- Worked with all functional leaders and HR team to acquire and integrate 5 companies (Beijing Leader, Airlink, Ken, GST (4 in China) and Chubb Alba (India) and divested Chubb Security Personnel business in HK successfully and on time. All HR DD and integration works were completed by internal HR Team.- Identified and developed local talent for local business via developed talent pipeline via UTC Leadership Development Program, stretch assignment, On the job training, rotation and employee scholar program, etc.

- Built HR team and implemented HR shared services for all JVs in China- Strengthen hiring speed and reduced cost via successfully building partnership with local and international executive search firms - attracted >400 professional and leadership staff in <2 years- Created and implemented creative retention strategy to retain key employees in China. Maintain <5% attrition rate for all exempt staff in 2003- Implemented outsourcing and restructuring programs (reduced approx 300 employees) successfully under a very challenging environment. Received zero labor dispute via building strong credibility with Chinese Partners and Union in each operations over the last 18 months- Established strategic talent pool via Management Trainee and Sales Trainee Programs

- Developed and implemented Employee Handbook for Delphi China Holding Co (6 Divisions)- Integrated 2,600 employees from individual JVs to Equity JV successfully via strategic leadership communication- Won 3 labor cases professionally in Shanghai, Suzhou and Guangzhou in 2002

Key Accomplishments:- Restructured and implemented competitive company car benefits to retain key employees across 6 divisions in Asia Pacific Region- Developed and implemented standard platform for hi-pot selection process and reinforced hi-pot career tracking program across all divisions in Asia Pacific Region- Conducted, analyzed and presented HR due diligence report to Delphi management for potential JV acquisition in Japan

- Conducted company car survey in relevant industry in US and delivery proposed recommendation to Senior HR Management Team- Audited HR due diligence report from Corporate level and made recommendation to limit potential financial liability for M&A project in Korea

- Developed, evaluated & audited job leveling for Malaysia, Indonesia and India- Liquidated and retrenched 800 exempt and non exempt employees in Baicheng, China, Kota Bharu in Malaysia and Philippines without any labor dispute.- Conducted HR due diligence and presented risk and mitigation plan for potential acquisition in Korea and Malaysia respectively

- Developed and implemented common human resources system in Asia Pacific Region- Developed and implemented expat orientation program in Singapore- Conducted and prepared expat site survey report in Pusan, Korea

- Developed and implemented HR policies and sales incentive plan for HK, Korea and Taiwan- Relocated to Singapore and worked with new General Manager to set up and build the sales & marketing team for Singapore Southeast Asia Reg Office- Recruited 46 staff (local and expat) for sales & marketing offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand
