As a self-employed consultant, I have worked with a wide array of companies in various industries, understanding their needs and providing HR services. I collaborated with clients to identify performance gaps to ensure the right cost effective solutions were developed. I created job descriptions, offer letters, and performed full cycle recruitment activities.

At EMPO, I provided HR consulting services to various small businesses. I identified their needs and provided performance consulting and organizational development to the staff, management, and HR teams. I coached small business leadership with appropriate policies and objectives providing advice, guidance, recommendations, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. I advised on personnel matters, including grievances, compensation, and selection processes. I provided guidance to management regarding organizational structure, job evaluation, compensation, benefits, and payroll administration, including related policies and procedures.

I managed all aspects of the recruitment process for mental health, education, and administrative positions. I provided advice on recruitment policy, best practices and agreement obligations as it related to recruitment. I established recruitment timelines with hiring managers, prepared job postings for internal and/or external posts, and screened candidates against job qualifications.

I developed and managed a nation-wide campus recruiting program, streamlining the annual hiring of undergraduate and Masters candidates. I collaborated with the CFO and other leadership on a variety of HR projects, including compensation studies and performance reviews.
