I led on a wide range of policy areas to support new Local Plans and regeneration strategies and processed planning applications for large-scale urban regeneration projects. Key projects I led on are set out below: London Borough of Tower Hamlets Local Plan 2031: I led the development of new planning policies governing open space, urban greening, water spaces, biodiversity, community, cultural and social facilities for this local plan. I analysed consultation responses and prepared the plans consultation summary statements, duty to cooperate statement and local development scheme statement for the plans submission to the Secretary of State.London Borough of Merton - Estates Local Plan 2018: I led several policy areas to support the preparation of this plan to support the regeneration of Ravensbury, High Path and Eastfield’s estates to enable the delivery of over 1,000 new homes. London Borough of Merton - Morden Housing Zone: I supported the development of a new strategy to enable the regeneration of Morden Town Centre to deliver 1,070 new homes. I worked with a team to successfully secure £42m in funding from the Mayor of London to support this project. Royal Borough of Greenwich - Greenwich Millennium Village: I acted as the lead major projects senior planner responsible for processing all planning consent applications and negotiating affordable housing and infrastructure contributions from developers. The development delivered 3,000 residential units, 6,548 square meters of office space, and 2,325 square meters of retail property. The development was designed to high sustainability standards and utilised green building materials and incorporated passive solar architecture, high-grade insulation and a co-generation power plant.
