In July 2024 I started working on my R&D project and thesis at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics under the supervision of João Ramos, Charlott Stock and Poul Nissen.

In February 2022 I started working in the HCEMM-SU Molecular Oncohematology Research Group as a student researcher at the Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research, Semmelweis University. My supervisor and I have had several ongoing research projects aiming the prediction and more effective targeted treatment of hematological malignancies, namely follicular lymphoma (FL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). We used next-generation sequencing (NGS) methods to identify genetic and epigenetic alterations related to the diseases in the whole genome. We carried out the data analysis using R and visualized figures with RStudio.In February 2023 I was given the opportunity to present our results at the Semmelweis University Scientific Student Conference with the title: "A risk-stratification study based on copy number alterations using shallow whole genome sequencing technology in follicular lymphoma". My presentation was awarded II. place.

During the summer of 2022 I had a chance to take part in the implementation of a new patient follow-up system introduced by the Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research, Semmelweis University. My task was to look up the necessary information (anamnesis, etc.) in MedSol, collect them in an excel sheet and then register everything in the new system (Palladis).

I started a 4-month-contract internship in February 2023 at EUROAPI Hungary kft. I helped implementing the new SAP system for process control and documenting all the faulty equipment in the pharmaceutical production area. Additionally, I supported the engineers when something needed to be fixed during production.
