• Sourcing new product competitively and developing innovative and cost-efficient ideas• Working closely on packaging and presentations with design team• Market knowledge (competitive shopping and detailed USA and CANADA market analysis)• Supervise every product sourcing and development process to ensure the merchandise appeals to the customer's needs• Deeply involved in developing product line for every customer• Negotiating prices with overseas factories with quality and volume in mind• Managing initial costing system for all categories • Source, develop and present an overall product assortment for each season • Responsible for line of all new products across all categories based on every season • Working closely with sales team on sourcing and buying right items at right prices• Greatly involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from new concept to the final packaging• Responsible for follow up for all customer meeting outcomes, making sure the team meets all project deadlines• Responsible for establishing quality, color, and testing standards for production team• Help to direct Chinese office team in the design, production and quality control of manufactured product
