I currently contribute to the research team at CoreData, where I drive research projects in the financial services and other industries. My role involves designing and delivering research, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and delivering key insights to our clients to drive better decisions. Before joining CoreData, I completed my Master's Degree in Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of Helsinki. During my degree, I developed my knowledge in ethnographic research methods and conducted primary and secondary research into a diverse range of cultural contexts to understand different social frameworks, values, ideologies and practices. For my MA thesis, I studied cryptocurrency use and collective valuation. Through ethnographic research among online and offline communities, I produced new research on a phenomenon that is currently reshaping financial consumption practices and the meaning of money itself. Before my MA, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Digital Humanities from the Australian National University. There I studied topics at the intersection of technology, culture, development practices and human interactions with the environment. In this degree I also completed a Minor in Philosophy, developing my interest in ethics, logic and critical thinking. Alongside my academic life, I've gained professional experience through multiple Federal Government positions. In these roles, I developed my capacity for strong stakeholder engagement, project planning and evaluation, research and analysis, helping to deliver national funding schemes.
