I am currently studying a 3 year Sociology BA undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield. Whilst at University I have joined societies such as auditioning for the Sheffield University Performing Arts Society where I was a solo violin in the Addams Family along with being apart of the Sheffield University Concert Orchestra. I have played violin for 12 years performing in many locations including Germany and have developed a variety of skills in doing so.Since January 2022 I have worked at TGI Fridays UK part time. I am a versatile team member gaining experience as a door host, server assistant and waitress. During my time there I have developed skills such as quick thinking, effective communication, handling money and confidence. Working at TGI Fridays has taught me the importance of good customer service for all customers including children in which I learnt to make balloon animals such as dogs, swords and flowers to keep them entertained and enjoy their experience.In July 2023 I went on a voluntary trip to Bali, Indonesia for a month. I volunteered as an English Teacher for children and University students to develop their English Language Skills. I independently led classes of 30 students which was an engaging and eye opening experience as I discovered an interest in teaching and had the opportunity to experience another culture.Looking for a placement year job for the academic year 2025/26.
