Leading the fundraising team at OTW towards ambitious plans for growth in the coming five years, whilst looking forward to exciting changes in the charity during this time, including a significant capital campaign. We remain focused at all times on helping the seriously ill children we support, and their families, being continually inspired by our volunteers and passionate staff team.

During 2020 and 2021 I worked on a part-time basis with this wonderful new children's charity, writing and implementing a three-year fundraising strategy to facilitate their growth and achieve a fully sustainable position by year five. In addition to strategic work, I actively fundraised to achieve scalable targets, focusing on Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Partnerships and Community Fundraising, whilst also working to implement a Major Donor plan and begin to plan events for 2022.

Working within the partnerships team to diversify income to support the incredible work of this NGO. Achieving this goal through a combination New Business and re-engagement of lapsed partners. Additionally, managing existing six-figure partnerships and stewarding their onward support in the years to come. Furthermore, I will be working on the 2022 World Hepatitis Summit, securing sponsorship income to facilitate financial viability of this unique and important event, working to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030.

Hammersmith - West London Centre

As Centre Fundraising Manager at Maggie's, I managed all fundraising activities of the West London Maggie's centre, along with two direct reports and a team of volunteers, in order to facilitate the continued provision of social, emotional and practical support for people living with cancer. Working closely with three other Maggie's centres in London, and with more than 20 other centres across the country, my role focused on corporate, community and events income, forging relationships with companies, major donors, local residents and volunteers, raising c.£600,000 each year.

In my role as Senior Fundraising manager at the RHN my focus was on the generation of a new corporate partnerships strategy; working on both new business and account management, as well as continuing to manage the full fundraising events calendar, including all sporting, special, community and corporate events. Furthermore, managing two direct reports and overseeing community fundraising income.

Responsible for organising a wide calendar of sporting and non-sporting events, engaging corporates with sponsorship and COTY relationships. Also have direct managerial responsibility for a Community and Events Executive who engages with the local community (including schools, associations, groups and individuals).

I organise the fundraising events calendar for the RHN, ranging from large scale sporting challenges, such as the London Marathon, to smaller bespoke events solely for our charity. I am responsible for meeting annual fundraising targets and promoting community engagement in the local area. I work with corporates, schools, individuals and societies, often working to obtain sponsorship for events or encouraging groups to organise their own fundraising activities.The money raised helps to care for adults suffering from complex or profound neurological disabilities, requiring rehabilitative or long-term care.

I assessed and provided Robust Written Feedback for learners undertaking NCFE Level 2 courses on Dementia Awareness and Mental Health, as well as Equality and Diversity, helping to clarify their learning or assist with resubmission if necessary, and accompany them through the ten units of each course. This was a part time role amounting to approximately 15 hours per week, which I continued with alongside full-time employment.

I facilitated daily training courses at the IDM's headquarters in Teddington, as well as organising external courses at other venues in London. My role involved updating training materials, liaising with speakers, booking venues, managing delegates, collecting pre- and post-course feedback, etc.In addition to this I assisted with the organisation of conferences and members' events, typically in London, for IDM members and past delegates.
