•Identify target customer needs, acknowledgement, handling perspectives and meeting the customers’ needs on an individual basis.•Manage a designated geographical Sales territory while promoting Boehringer Ingelheim’s products to General Practitioners and other allied health professionals.•Maintain and enhance knowledge of Boehringer Ingelheim’s products, competitor products and appropriate clinical information. This requires detailed knowledge of 3 prescription medicines and disease states to which they relate.•Train, Coach and Mentor other representatives within B.I.•Operate within territory and state budgets to increase growth of my product portfolio.•Liaising with Pharmacists and other health professionals to both educate and gain further insight into prescribing habits.•Complete an annual business plan with objectives, goals and S.W.O.T analysis. Keep budget tracker, functions planned and sample reconciliation up to date and accurate
