As a Data Scientist at the VA's National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation (NCCHI), I specialize in leveraging advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze structured and unstructured data in broad areas of healthcare operations and research. My goal is to improve patient health outcomes and create innovative models that provide valuable insights to improve patient care. With over eight years of extensive research experience across federal, state, and university sectors, I have developed a strong proficiency in data visualization, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning. I have also contributed to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national conferences, and served as a subject matter expert for various projects. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Arizona State University, building on my previous education in public health and biostatistics.
