I facilitate the Youth and Young Adults ministry at Hillsong Liverpool as a volunteer, I lead the team in discipling young people in our congregation and host regular events for Youth and YA to encounter God.

Alongside my degree in Theology, Ministry and Mission I have had the opportunity to intern at Hillsong Liverpool. During my time I have facilitated the Youth and Young Adults Ministry, including project managing TRUE conference which began in 2023. I have led teams of volunteers, coordinated events and managed budgets. I have been able to grow in confidence in my public speaking abilities with preaching and MCing at Youth and YA nights, team nights and Sunday services. I have operated within the core leadership team and worked closely with the Campus Pastors to facilitate a healthy church that prioritises the Presence of God, Formation of His people and the Mission of God. As well as serving locally, I have also been able to serve within the national resource team. I have written and produced Crew Notes for youth leaders to use across Hillsong UK and hosted seminars at the national summercamp on How to Read the Bible.

Spending the summer in France was an incredible opportunity for my personal development. I loved being able to work within a young, dynamic team from across Europe to deliver fun and engaging youth and children’s activities as well as jam-packed holiday program. I mostly served within the youth team, and served within a leadership role for the deliverance of the holiday program. My public speaking abilities grew immensely with delivering multiple talks a week, from preaching to hosting Quiz and Karaoke nights.

During my gap year I worked as a tutor for Key Stage 2 children who received pupil premium. The goal of delivering engaging and high quality tutoring sessions was to narrow the gap between the pupils and their peers from more fortunate backgrounds. I was able to grow my understanding on how to teach and engage with children from disadvantaged backgrounds as well as safeguarding procedures. I delivered a mixture of Maths and English sessions online and in person.
