Raleigh's Expedition and ICS programmes focus on providing safe access to water and sanitation, protecting vulnerable environments and building resilient communitiesReporting into the Director of Safety and International Operations, I was responsible for safety, security and operations, enabling the successful delivery of the DFID funded International Citizenship Service programme (65%) and Raleigh Expeditions (35%). In 2016, 2,194 volunteers from 33 countries safely completed a range of sustainable development programmes.
