My role is to support the Business Development Manager in the Marketing and advertising activities of the company.I am solely responsible for the Dunedin Hospital website, it's content and keeping it up to date with clinical information in relation to the hospital and the Spire group.I support the PR activities, the consultant engagement and entertainment and all administration duties within the department. I regularly organise GP education events, both onsite and at external venues, as well as GP 'fun' events such as corporate rugby or a football tournament.I also support the customer service desk with responsibility to help answer calls, book in patients and help with the administration duties.

I was placed in Almeria, Spain for a summer representative job. My key role was customer service and entertainment for holiday makers. We gave them guided tours after airport collection, so resort information, including history and places of interest were vital. We were required to give welcome meetings with all the necessary information they required throughout their stay, and sell excursions from Thomas Cook.Overall I had to deal with queries, concerns and entertainment, this included working all hours and being available on an emergency phone 24/7 when needed.
