Anna is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics in the Griffith Business School. Anna specialises in financial planning and taxation law. Prior to joining Griffith University, Anna worked at Deloitte as a Client Tax Manager and PwC. Anna holds a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from Griffith University, a Master of Taxation Studies (Hons) from The University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Taxation) from The University of Auckland. She is also a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA). Anna is a teaching focused academic who has been recognised for her excellence in teaching. In 2018, she was awarded a Learning and Teaching Citation for her work in supporting, motivating and inspiring students to learn. In 2016 - 2019 and 2022 - 2023 (all years the scheme has been offered), she was recognised as part of the Griffith Business School's Teaching Excellence Recognition Scheme. In 2014 and 2017, she was ranked in the top 4% of Griffith University’s teachers and in 2012 she was recognised as one of QUT’s Top 10 Lecturers in the UniJob Lecturer of the Year Awards.
