My heart is in retail. I love everything about it, the customer interaction, the service experience and of course the amazing colleagues serving our customer every day. I am extremely proud and passionate about what I do and have an amazing 30 years experience with Tesco.My Tesco journey started in 1994. I soon took the progressive development path in Tesco as knew this is what I loved doing. I said 'yes' to every opportunity, managing projects at store or group level, led teams in varied department and senior management roles, I even worked nights as a project lead. All those skills gave me confidence and knowledge which helped me progress to become a store manager. I led various sized store teams for eight years. This is where I really got to know customers and colleagues and how dynamic and rewarding this role is. It's also a journey of self learning and growth, that never leaves you.My roles in our Head Office have covered Service Operations in our Business Support Team. I'm currently in role as Customer Experience Manager, where I work alongside other project and insight teams, to create new and exciting ways to engage stores by shaping and designing the Service Plan for the shopping trip experience, helping colleagues do the right thing for customers - through the emotional aspect and behaviours of service. I act as a consult to other areas of the business to share service and customer experience expertise to support cultural change. I am a service expert and role model the change we need to see.I'm proud of my proven track record for delivering and have a strong passion for helping customers have a great experience in our stores. I'm recognised for my collaborative approach and teamwork across all levels of the business, in helping to make change and deliver.Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me!
